Hello my name is Glitz I am aka Glitzy Alien in some circles.  The reason I am called Glitz is my long time friend gave me this name because I love anything that is shiny and glittery (even the snow in the sun and oil on the roads in the summer time).  Alien is because I have Roswell connections and my nieces and nephews call me Edlyn ( a mix of my names) and if you say that real fast it becomes alien.  So I have evolved into Glitzy Alien in some circles.

I love God and all he stands for.  Faith--man such a simple word but it is hard to walk in that word.  But it can be done.  When all looks dark around you then it is time to walk in the faith of your father.

I am 59 yrs next month.  Been married 42 yrs, 3 grown children, 8 grandchildren, 2 1/2 gr-grands, 6 furbabies.  I live close to Dallas Tx.  My sister lives not far from me and I enjoy the time we have together with her.

I am interested in all crafts but mainly in working with plastic bottles.  I iron them, make jewelry out of them, well anything my little ole mind dreams up I attempt to make with bottles.  I am going to eventually publish a book on how to do what I do with the bottles. 

Right now I am engrossed in a wedding.  Our oldest daughter is getting married Oct 4th for the second time and we are really glad she divorced her first husband.  He was an abuser of her and the girls.  The guy she married is really nice to her and her daughters.  I am thankful she found him.

We have a son who has been divorced twice we are close to the first wife and mother of his kids.  The second one we don't care if we ever see her again.  She hurt him, the kids and us really really bad.

Our youngest daughter and her husband are into to horses and have a young son.  They are all doing good.

School started this week and so things are going along really well.  Kids like it so far.
